The Denver Nuggets are in for another exciting year, and could it just be that their most important player will be Will Barton or better know as Will “The Thrill” Barton?
Born in Baltimore and attended college at Memphis, Will Barton was the 10th pick in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft. That draft was highlighted by now day superstars Anthony Davis and Damian Lillard. Barton, so far, has had the best NBA career of anyone that was chosen after him.
Barton, who is now only 25, could be the veteran that will pull the Nuggets into playoff contention in the following years.
Will “The Thrill” Barton was one of the best players off of the bench in the entire NBA. He actually finished fourth in Sixth Man of the Year ranking. Barton’s numbers, when compared to the other Nuggets in the time that he was allotted, proves that he could be the most valuable Nuggets.
Barton had his critiques throughout his career, but his steady improvement as seen by the chart above is a key reason as to why he is still in the NBA and currently silencing the critiques. This next season could be the shot for Barton to claim his Sixth Man of the Year award.
